I offer a full framing service to fellow artists or to anyone who requires a quality framing job done at a very competitive price.
I use industry-standard equipment in my workshop, such as the Morso guillotine for totally accurate mitres, a Cassese underpinner for joining mouldings into the finished frame and a Keencut mount cutter that guarantees quality mounts every time.
I have a range of mouldings that are suitable for small to large works in any medium and if there is a particular moulding that is required that I do not have in stock, it can be sourced (providing it is still being manufactured), so the client gets exactly what they want. Frames can even be refinished so that the frame complements the picture.
As an artist myself, I fully understand the need for framing at an affordable price, of good quality and the work to be done on time. Many artists work to deadlines to complete paintings for exhibitions, and sometimes finding a framer that is able or willing to take on a framing job that is wanted in a hurry can be frustrating and sometimes very difficult. I am not a nine-to-five person and I always succeed in getting the job done on time, and that applies to both painting for clients, and framing work for others. A job that is wanted quickly does not mean a compromise in quality and workmanship.
It does not take any longer to do the job properly than it does to bodge and make do!
